Custom built by Tom Anderson Guitar Works this Drop Top T is one of a kind!
In a stunning Tigers Eye burst and highly figured maple top. The Drop Top is chambered for weight relief with an ultra thin and resonant finish. Vintage 'V' shape neck is super comfortable and has just the right amount of girth.
Featuring the Buzz Feiten tuning system prepare to experience the most in tune guitar you've ever played..
The Buzz Feiten designed tempered tuning system allows the guitar to play much more in pitch than a standard guitar. A standard guitar is tuned to 12 tone equal temperament meaning each octave is split in to 12 equidistant notes, these pitches are arranged to be very close to naturally arising harmonics found within the harmonic series. This naturally occuring harmonic series is the basis for all western music. However, In order to be able to play in multiple keys musicians slightly modified the pitches of all the notes in an octave, this is called 12 tone equal temperament. This means that when you play chords on a guitar some notes of the chord will be a little out of tune, not horrifically so but noticeable to a good ear. This Guitar aims to correct this using the Buzz Feitin tuning system. "If a normal guitar is approximately 80% in tune then the tempered tuning is about 95% in tune"
