LORE® Cold Pressed Lemon Seed Fingerboard Oil 50ml

LORE ® Cold Pressed Lemon Seed Oil is the highest quality fingerboard oil on the market. Designed and made in-house by Ryan Havinga. This oil is specially designed for musical instruments, restoring fingerboards and giving them a long-lasting lustre. 

This oil can also be used to remove grime from lacquer and restore a natural finish to the guitar. We always recommend trying this in an inconspicuous place first. 

We've used the highest quality raw materials in the production of this oil.

Most lemon oils on the market are not actually lemon oil; they are mineral oils with lemon scent added to them. Mineral oil is a cheap oil (derived from petroleum) that actually has no inherent benefits to timber; all it does is seal the wood.

LORE ® Cold Pressed Lemon Seed Oil is a combination of cold-pressed oils that does more than just seal timber and has zero petrol in its production.

• All of our raw oils contained in this formula are cold-pressed. This means that zero petrol was used in the extraction of our raw oils. Formulating a completely petrol-free product.

• Naturally high vitamins. Vitamins such as Vitamin E form a natural blockage to UV, meaning that it forms a natural barrier to discolouration from the sun.

• Naturally high in Oxalic Acid. Oxalic Acids are used by woodworkers as a natural stain remover. Particularly good for water and metal staining, leaving the wood as good as new!

• Naturally high in fatty acids such as linoleic acid, palmitic and oleic acid. These naturally occurring fatty acids help the repellency of the wood, sealing it from absorbing excess moisture. This will stop over-humidification of the timber, avoiding things like fret pop from fingerboard shrinkage. 

• Completely solvent-free. Not only is our oil containing zero solvents, but zero solvents were used in making the raw materials. Making it completely biodegradable, environmentally friendly and non-toxic. 

This oil was under development for over 8 years, and we use this specifically in our workshop. We’ve trialled this product on thousands of guitars and have seen vast improvements over similar products on the market.
