Bridge Pins - WM Guitars

Bridge Pins

Bridge pins are one of the simplest upgrades you can make to an acoustic guitar — and one of the most effective. Swapping plastic pins for bone, ebony, or wood alternatives improves string-to-body energy transfer, adds clarity and sustain, and gives your instrument a more refined, finished look. We stock a wide range of materials, inlay styles, and finishes to suit every taste and budget.

By Material

Bone

The most popular upgrade from plastic. Dense, resonant, and tonally balanced. Available in bleached (bright, clean look) and unbleached (warm, vintage appearance) versions, with a choice of inlay and slot options.

  • Unbleached, No Dot
  • Unbleached, No Dot, Unslotted
  • Unbleached, Abalone Dot
  • Unbleached, Brass Ring & Large Red Rosewood Dot
  • Bleached, No Dot
  • Bleached, No Dot, Unslotted
  • Bleached, Large Abalone Dot & Brass Ring

Camel Bone

  • Unbleached, No Dot — dense natural material with clear, resonant tone

Ebony

Dark, hard, and articulate — adds warmth and a touch of elegance. Available with and without inlay.

  • No Dot
  • Abalone or MOP Dot
  • Brass Ring & Small MOP or Abalone Dot
  • Brass Ring & Large Abalone or MOP Dot

Cocobolo Wood

Exotic hardwood with a rich, warm tone and distinctive grain. A visually striking alternative to bone.

  • No Dot
  • Abalone Dot
  • Brass Ring & Large Abalone Dot

Brass

  • Set of 6 — bright, punchy tone with a distinctive metallic look

Plastic

  • Cream — set of 6 or single pin
  • Black — set of 6 or single pin

Note: Unslotted pins are recommended for optimal tonal transference and are best suited to guitars where the bridge plate holes are already slotted.
